Hello!  So excited for my next post on the October Afternoon blog... I am telling you this is one of my absolute favorite companies!  Here is a layout that I made using the Daily Flash Egg Nog mini collection and some of the Very Merry kit.   Stop by the October Afternoon blog today to hear a little more on this layout.

It has been so busy this time of year, it is hard to find time to get on this blog!  Anyway, here is a layout that I have up on the Chic Tags blog today, using the new Happy Place collection.  I love how easy it is to scrapbook using these products!  I added a piece of vellum over my journaling to make it less of the focus of my layout.  It is still visible to read, but now the picture is the main focus.  This was a technique that I learned from the Studio Calico Lifted class.

I stuck lots of little sequins on top... Right now I am loving the soft look of sequins and vellum.

it's like Magic

Hi... today I have a layout up on the Pretty Little Studio blog. This photo of Christmas cookies was my starting point.  The colors of these sweet little cookies is what got me going.  I've used little bits and pieces of the new Woodland Christmas line.  I love these cute little animals and the wood grain paper...  Stop by the blog today to see some more details.

Here is a layout that I made using the brand new Woodland Christmas collection...

There were so many little bits and pieces that I wanted to include of this collection, I decided to go with a little grid layout.  I cut snippets of papers and used little tags, feathers and die cut shapes to fill up my grid.  I embellished with a few wood veneers and a piece of flair.  

My first photo was taken in poor light.  I turned it to black and white and it came out just fine.  I love the contrast between it and the second photo of the finished tree in color.

I love the little woodland birds and animals in this collection.

Hi!  I am up on the Chic Tags blog today with this layout.  These papers made it so easy for my layout to come together!  I love the look of the layered mat on my layout... but I am a paper hoarder and I couldn't give up two big sheets of Chic Tags paper.... the bottom photo shows what the back of my layout looks.  I simply just used the edges of the paper.
