graduation card

I also made a graduation card using the same Simple Stories Awesome paper line.  Very simple, but perfect for a boy!  The Scrapbooking Studio has all of the supplies...

Simple Stories Awesome mini album

Today I am posting a few pictures of a mini album I made using Simple Stories Awesome line.  I made a little book to document my 8 year old son... random facts, favorite things, music, colors, teams... all things that will change in a year or so.  It is always fun to look back at what they were like at a certain age.  I try to do a little interview with the kids every so often and this line was the perfect way to document it.  Here is a glimpse of a couple of the pages.  Stop by the Scrapbooking Studio to check out the details of this project and to pick up some paper for yourself.

Maya Road zipper trim around the edge of the album.

teacher gifts

Today is the last full day of school here.  Kids are bringing these cute little thank you gifts to their teachers.  I found the file folders and Bingo pads at a little stationary store here called Fabulous Affairs.  Tape measure ribbon is from Maya Road.  Of course, tied up with some bakers' twine.  Hope they like them!

baseball season

Baseball season has started up and Echo Park is ready!  I used Echo Park's Grand Slam mini theme line to make these two layouts.  Fun paper with cute stickers for embellishments.  I cut up bits and pieces and used my favorite parts... the stitching of the baseball, the pennants and the scorebook paper are a few parts I love!  I dug a little deep to find some pictures of these two from a couple of years ago.  Check out this line of paper at the Scrapbooking Studio next time you are in!

catching up

Still catching up with projects from last month... I made a Maya Road banner spelling out the word "live" and using My Mind's Eye Miss Caroline Dilly Dally line.  I really loved the bright colors against the worn wood paper.  This paper could be used for so many different things!

I took my leftover pieces and made a cute friend card too!

Stop by the Scrapbooking Studio to check out these samples in more detail!

This and That...

So.. it has been a little while since I've blogged.  Things got a bit busy and the blog slipped away.  Here are some of the projects I have been working on in the last couple of months.  These are two layouts that I made for the Scrapbooking Studio using Echo Park's This and That Charming collection.  I really enjoyed this line of paper with its vintage goodies and soft colors.
