And here are a couple of close up shots...

I love, love working on this project.  Yes, it can get frustrating when you are running short on time and I have learned that there will be some weeks that are very detailed and some that are plain and simple.  Both me and my kids have enjoyed looking back at our life from even a couple of weeks ago and I can only imagine how we will feel looking back as time goes on.  It is SO WORTH IT!

There is so much out there geared towards making this a doable endeavor!  I hope you are enjoying our little project life blog hop and you are feeling inspired.

One last thing...I have a little giveaway for one lucky commenter on my blog.  It is a  mini project life kit with some journaling cards, tags and some of my favorite little embellishments that I love to include on my weekly spreads.  I also have a small Studio Calico Project Life stamp set that I will pop in there.  Comments will close Sunday at midnight central time.  I will post the winner early next week, so be sure to check back.

Next up in our hop is Danielle's blog.  I absolutely adore her work, be sure to pay her a visit!

Thank you so much for stopping by!

epiphany craft meets pink paislee

Good morning... all this week we are having a product swap with Epiphany Crafts and Pink Paislee.  We were given some goodies from Pink Paislee to work in with our Epiphany Crafts embellishments.  I created a layout with the She Art collection.  I kept the layout simple with all of the patterns that were already going on in the papers.  Then I topped it off with one little Epiphany Crafts goodie.  This layout was on the blog yesterday.

Home:

I tucked some of the Pink Paislee printed coffee filter papers behind the border along the bottom, not completely tacking it down so they would add some dimension to my layout.  I really like these coffee filter papers for layering!  I also put a bunch of rub ons on my base layer, as well as on top of some of the patterned papers.

To keep with my simple design, I topped off one of my little houses with a heart Epiphany Crafts epoxy.  It was like adding the cherry on top of ice cream sundae!  Love.

I hope you get the chance to stop by the blog this week to leave a comment.  We have great give aways from these two companies.

a new Sunday challenge

Oh, my it has been way too long... I was gone for a week to visit family and then it was trying to get caught up with life while the kids are home from school!  I think summer is just going to be like this.

Anyway on the Chic Tags blog this week the Sunday challenge is to use an Instagram photo on your layout. Here is the layout that I made...

Piper style:

I tried to use a bunch of mismatched patterns to show off her 3 year old style.

Join us and link up your layout here.  Veronica, as always has an awesome give away!

two cards

I'm blogging on the go today!  I am in Canada visiting family, but I thought I would pop in to share with you a couple of cards that I have made.

This first one is for the Scrapbooking Studio.  A birthday card using Amy Tangerine's line, Yes Please!

This second card I made for the dear Stephanie of Bella Blvd who just got married a couple of weekends ago.

Thanks for stopping by!

Sunday Challenge: A sketch!

Hello, hello.  I hope you had a drier weekend than around here.  We have had so much rain.

Today I have a brand new layout to share with you that I made for the Chic Tags Sunday Challenge.  We were to use this image for inspiration or as a sketch:

And here is my take on the layout...

Pink:

I used very little patterned paper and relied heavily on the tags and die cuts.  I encourage you to give this one a try.  Link up your layout to this blog post for a chance to win.  Veronica has some awesome give aways!  Until next time!
