dear lizzy birthday card

Just using up my scraps of the Dear Lizzy Neapolitan line... I absolutely love these little jars.  Had to cut one out and add some extra stars for a birthday wish.  Such soft colors.  The Scrapbooking Studio carries this paper...Come by and check it out!

tag challenge

Last month at the Scrapbooking Studio we were given some Studio 490 Art Parts and tags.  I wasn't really sure what I would do with them, since it is not my typical style, but I had a great time thinking out of my little box!  Lucky for me, I was scrapping with a dear friend who has all sorts of mists and paints and stamps that went along with this style and I dug in to her stash! Sure enough, I thoroughly enjoyed putting together these tags, layer after layer... and I loved the challenge too.

a flower pot project

Here is a little project I made with Bo Bunny's Weekend Market line.  It's a very versatile line that could be used for travel, 4th of July or just everyday scrapbooking!  I covered a little flower pot and added some embellished flags and stars... and there you have it, a cute little centerpiece.  Stop by the Scrapbooking Studio to pick up your supplies!

A couple of layouts

For the month of May, one of the collections of paper I was given to work with at the Scrapbooking Studio was Dear Lizzy's Neapolitan. It is a perfect little girl line and I really had fun making these layouts.
 A pretty dress:
Lots of little bits of paper here.  I really enjoyed cutting up and adding details piece by piece.

Picking Pink:
Vellum paper is back...with lots of fun patterns.  The cloud vellum is really cute!  I also love the little jars.  In this layout I cut a jar out and put a few of the beads that were in P's hair to it.

Note to Self

There are still spots left in my class at the Scrapbooking Studio on Saturday, June 23rd.  We are making a mini album and talking about the many ways to use one of the latest trends in scrapbooking, Washi tape.  Call the store for details!
