Chic Tags + the Twinery blog hop!

 Hello!  It is no secret that I haven't been blogging lately.  OK,  I have been taking a break...but... I am back today with an awesome blog hop!  Chic Tags + the Twinery!  It doesn't get much better than that!  So sit back, grab a coffee and enjoy our hop!  We will be going strong today AND tomorrow with lots of projects so be sure to check back both days for more inspiration.

Here is the layout that I have contributed to the hop.  I couldn't decide on just one way to use this twine... so instead I used it in three ways!

This little 3x4 card was jazzed up by just wrapping some twine around it and then tying a bow.

I used a paper piercer and a ruler to prepunch hole along the acetate letters and then used twine to hand stitch through them.  Since the twine is thicker than embroidery floss I just went through each hole only once. 

And finally, I made a banner with little tags hanging from the twine.

There are so many fun things you can do with this stuff!  I can't wait to try more...

I am back for another fabulous term on the Pretty Little Studio Design Team!  I love working with these products... and just when I think I have found my favorite, Melissa designs something new!  Looking forward to another term with amazing designers!

two new layouts

I am back from CHA and I think I am finally going to be in one spot for longer than 5 days!  I feel like I have been on the go since before Christmas.   Today I have a couple of layouts to share with you as I get caught up from not being around the blog lately...

The first one is for Pretty Little Studio.

I made a very subtle title here and stitched a white 25 on the white cardstock a couple of times.

Hello... I have found one more layout that I made with the October Paper Camellia kit that I thought I should add to my blog before we move on to November!  This is my first attempt using chalkboard papers.  The chalkboard stickers were from the add on kit.  I dug out a white pen so that I could journal on the chalkboard stickers.  I've got lots to learn, but I have to say, it was fun!
