Blog Hop time!

Good Morning!  It is the 29th of the month again today, which means it is time for the Social [Media] Butterflies blog hop!  Our group of talented girls is growing bigger and you will be sure to find some inspiration each and every month!

Here is the layout that I created for the hop.  My layout is "inspired by" the Glitz Design Uncharted Waters line.  I wasn't actually able to get my hands this line, but used it for some ideas to inspire me to make a layout.  I loved the layered circles paper, so I used a circle punch and my Studio Calico kit and made my own! I really like the subtle changes of colors in these papers that created almost an ombre effect.  I also love the name of this collection so I found a way to incorporate it in to my layout.  Can't wait to really play with this line!

Squirt Champs!

Last weekend we went to the Dells for an end of the season fun hockey tournament.  Our mite AA team played in the squirt division since most of our team was moving up next year anyway.  We all had a great time and watched 4 fantastic games of hockey.  The last one was the best... on the edge of your seat kind of game - one for the scrapbook, kind of game.  No one thought we would win the tournament.   I mainly used my Neverland Studio Calico kit for this one.  The stacked frames are inspired by Lisa.

Good morning!  We are officially on Spring Break today... and we just got a whole bunch of snow.  Not a dusting, but a dump.  What happened to Spring?  I am not sure, but I know that I am ready for it.

New Bella Blvd line - All American

Today I have a new layout to share with you using Bella Blvd's newest line, All American.  This is a super cute line of paper and embellishments that is great for any summer related projects, especially 4th of July!  Be sure to check out all the details on the Bella Blvd blog.  I think my favorite items are the new Designer Tapes, red chevron, chlorine dot and navy dot.  So cool!

Hi.  It seems like I have been slacking on the blogging lately.  I am still making lots of things... I just think I haven't been as good about posting them.  I need to find a balance here.  Here is week 9 of my Project Life.  I am using the Studio Calico project life kit and lots of Chic Tags of course.

Chic Tags Challenge

Hi there.  This week on the Chic Tags blog, the Sunday challenge was to document a day in the life.  Usually I would dedicate a little mini album to record the events of the day and to hold the pictures, but I didn't have time to make one.  So.... I snapped a bunch of pictures throughout the day and put them together in a little grid collage.  Since all my photos were in one place, I simply put together a layout!  I used my new Neverland Studio Calico kit, a Silhouette cut and of course some Chic Tags to document my day.  And now it is your turn.  Make a layout, mini, or whatever to document a day in your life and link it up to this post.   One random winner will be picked to win the EVERYDAY LIFE II collection before you can buy it.

I have mixed some new collections with some older ones.  I love that so many of the Bella Blvd collections coordinate with each other.

 My sticker letters looked a little flat on my page.  To make them pop, I went over them with glossy accents.  It brightened them, and gave a little texture and dimension.

whoosh!

I am hearing that we are possibly in for some more snow... what better timing for a beachy layout?! This layout was on the Bella Blvd blog the other day.   I used Bella Blvd's new Sand & Surf line to make this one.  The whoosh was cut on my cameo, but I felt like I needed some type of curly font, so I hand wrote it on my iPad and sent it over to my cameo.  It worked great and I will definitely be trying this technique again!

I used my typewriter to type the journaling on a piece of vellum.
