On Teresa's blog today!

Today is my birthday... it used to be a super exciting day of gifts and special treats, but as I have gotten older it has changed.  It is not about me anymore!  And that is OK.  BUT... I couldn't think of a better surprise on my birthday than to be featured on Teresa Collins' blog!  Here are a few sneaks of my projects, but hop on over to her blog to check them all out in full.  Teresa is a wonderful person full of love and strength.  She visited the Scrapbooking Studio a couple of weeks ago to teach an awesome, sold out class!  In return, we showered her with projects using her brand new collections!  Here are some sneaks of my projects...

Bella Blvd + Epiphany Crafts = LOVE

Happy Monday, my blog readers!  To start off the week I have a brand new layout to share with you.  Over on the Bella Blvd blog we have done a swap with Epiphany Crafts this week!  All week long there will be Bella Blvd projects sprinkled with these sweet little embellishments!  First up is my Chasing Bubbles layout.  I loved working with these little round pieces.  They were so easy to use and it made me so happy that I could make a little embellie out of any piece of paper or sticker I chose!

This circle background die cut was the perfect piece to embellish with these round little bubbles!  To top it off, I happened to have an awesome picture of my daughter chasing some bubbles...

I also made a couple of cards...

These round little epoxy pieces are great for marking or highlighting an element.

And finally, there are charm backings for the epoxy pieces, which gives even more possibilities!  Banners and jewelry are just a few that come to mind!

Love is in the air!  Happy Valentine's day!   Just a quick little post with some heart projects....

One more day and it is Valentine's day!  Here is another love inspired layout for the occasion!  Again, I used BoBunny's Love Letters line to make this one.  I had a lot of pictures and didn't know which ones to use so I shrunk them down to 2x2 and fit a whole bunch on the page!  I love that even though this line was intended for Valentine's Day, it really could be used for anything love related. This layout and more projects are displayed at the Scrapbooking Studio.  Come on by for more inspiration!

The little postcards were my favorite part so I saved them for my journaling...

using Bella's Designer Tapes

 Hello!  Today on the Bella Blvd blog, there is a feature on using the Designer Tapes.  This is the layout that I made using the Designer Tapes as a large element of my page.   I cut the chevron/zigzag pattern on my cameo after covering a piece of 12x12 cardstock in tape from top to bottom.  I then used my sewing machine, followed along the edges of the zigzags and stitched the tapes down.  Stop by the Bella Blvd blog today to see more fabulous ideas for scrapbooking with Designer Tapes.

every little inch

Valentine's Day is just around the corner... so I figured I should post some love themed pages this week.  This is one I made for the Scrapbooking Studio using BoBunny's Love Notes collection.  The picture was taken around Christmas, but who says you need a February pictures for a layout about love??

I popped up a bunch of these little hearts using foam tape to add some dimension.  I also added stickles to a few of them to help them stand out.

Project LIfe week 3 and 4 and a giveaway!

It is Thursday...and that means almost the weekend.  Today I am showing you my Project Life pages from week 3 and 4.  I have started designing for Chic Tags, a fabulous little company with little bits and pieces that are just my style!  I couldn't be more excited!  I met Veronica, the owner, at CHA in January...and though she and I live across the country, I could feel the beginning of a dear friendship! I can't wait to meet up again... hopefully at the next CHA.  Anyway, here are my Project Life pages... A new layout of a new week... Today I am sharing a Bella Blvd layout, made with mainly the Kiss Me line.  The pictures were taken over the Christmas holidays of my little girl and the daughter of my dear friend from high school, actually even elementary school.  I am so happy that even though there is a couple years between them, they get along well!  Her mother is one of my besties and I look forward to seeing her every time we go back "home."
